Conservative tradition values, tradition and culture must not be diluted and poisoned by intolerant liberal edicts which are now nationally irreversible. One way might be by shoring up Red States as Conservative enclaves with Statehouses taking over social functions the Feds assume within the state. You’d have Conservative bastion-states with minimum federal interference and influence — provided their statehouses are strong enough. It’s credible and doable — provided we’ve gutsy pols to move on it. We can't secede but we can still exercise the freedom for our values, children and wallets to be well enough left alone.

Just why is it that we can't secede if we choose?

I could be wrong but I believe Texas is the only state that can legally secede.
other states can't, I belive because the were not republics. But like I said I could be wrong.

All States can secede, but as Lincoln proved, the Feds can then declare war and force you back in if you lose.

Texas is presenting an irrefutable sales-pitch for American Exceptionalism and private enterprise, and all the Democrats, even those loyal to Obama, are flocking there. They should be challenged, openly, as to why Texas is tolerable, and California broke.
The successes of Wisconsin do not get the airing they deserve, either, but a lid is being kept on all the good happening there. To painful for many a Liberal or union loving Democrat to face.
I see no dire warnings about the situation Californians have brought upon themselves anywhere but on Fox News, and that channel is mocked.

The successes of Wisconsin must never be mentioned, if you are to keep the Progressive Religion, as the challenge to that Faith is too great.

When President Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected to his fourth term, Kansas editor William Allen White, a staunch Republican, wrote: "We who hate your gaudy guts salute you." President Obama: We have never hated your gaudy guts. And we acknowledge that a majority of our fellow citizens of this Great Republic have saluted you and conferred upon you for the second time the office of President of the United States. We thank God that more than 120 million Americans voted in a peaceful and orderly election. That alone is a wonder of...
