If you have to ask if the Iraq war was worth it ... then you already know the answer is no. Even if you put aside that Tenet was wrong on the WMD, that Gen. Franks was wrong on the number of troops needed and Bremer was wrong on just about everything he did ... ya have to wonder why Bush awarded them all the Medal of Freedom? And yes while the surge was successful ... it took Bush 3 years to fire Rumsfeld before finally changing tactics! Far to late to save the Republican Party from losing congress in 2006.
