..but on the other hand, Dr. Sowell, Burke, in support of Irish free trade said: " "If, from this conduct, I shall forfeit their suffrages at an ensuing election, it will stand on record an example to future representatives of the Commons of England, that one man at least had dared to resist the desires of his constituents when his judgment assured him they were wrong." Sometimes you just got to take a stand. I, for one, believe that time is now, if not, if we don't, our children will live in the world of post February 1933 Germany. Our beloved leader can always find or create a Reichstag fire.

"And every school should have an armed guard ... someone with SWAT training." Let's see... the term "lockdown" have already been carried over from prisions to schools. Now folks want armed guards. The line between education and incarceration seems nonexistent.

Uh dick4260, there are restrictions on automatic weapons. There have been since the mid-thirties. The National Firearms Act passed by the 72nd Congress, June 26, 1934. Not that I agree such restrictions, including those on automobiles, licenses, , traffic lights, parking, barbers, manicurist, etc.

I had the great pleasure of having tea with Milton and Rose just a few weeks before he passed away. He's been one of my hero's for many many years. I especially enjoyed this bite of Sowell food!
