Obama like most liberals think of economics as a "Planned Economy" with government determining winners and losers. I would bet that his college records would indicate his knowledge is quite limited. "Redistribution of wealth" as a political objective invites the deterioration of incentives for private enterprise just as has been obvious during the Obama administration. Cyclical swings are in evidence and experienced in our competitive private enterprise economy. Dems like to claim FDR's "progressive" government programs ended the "great depression"' Truth is it ended as WW II demands required the resurgence to supply England and & build the most powerful military in history. LBJ and Carter also failed economically. SAD

To give you an idea how bad the jobs report released on Friday is, consider this fact: The employment situation in the country is so bad that economists can’t accurately measure it with the existing tools they use to measure jobs. In other words, we have entered a period in our country not contemplated by economists. They simply don’t have the tools to measure what’s actually occurring in the jobs market.
