If we go off the fiscal cliff, we will pay more money to help the government grow larger and the Republicans will be blamed successfully by the mainstream media and they will then lose in 2014. The GOP needs to eliminate the fiscal cliff or at least propose legislation to repeal it.

The Atlases who have sufficient wealth will probably be able to shrug by moving much or most of that wealth to where Obama & Co. cannot get it. The smaller-scale Atlases, of the middle class and even much of the upper class, probably cannot move their wealth and are going to get gutted.

So.. we give Obama everything he wants... encourage his behavior... and hit the fiscal cliff anyway when investment money dries up and we all get to figure out (again) that raising taxes on the rich doesn't increase government revenue...

We’ve all heard about the “fiscal cliff.” But what does it mean? The media won’t bother to explain it in any detail, and people aren’t looking it up on their own. So, a great many Americans think it’s a physical place, a vacation destination of some sort. I understand people are busy with their lives, but a majority of Americans just voted to re-elect President Obama, a man whose failed leadership created this harmonic convergence of economic mess that is the fiscal cliff. So I say, “To hell with it; let’s jump.”

President Obama is still in campaign mode, traveling...
