In principle I generally agree. But there is also other things to consider. You have to pick your battles and you do what you can. We did not trade will Stalin or Mao. We have made giant changes to the middle east that affect Israel. We armed Egypt and Turkey, which are now both becoming more hostile towards Israel. We also armed Iran and messed with Iran's government, which ultimately lead to the current regime that is threatening Israel.
