You have used the term "divorce". In this, any Christian should be in agreement with you. Most will be. Why you choose to use this in your opinion piece, only you know. I can only speculate that you are trying to generate some example of hypocrisy for which there is none. Sin is sin. You are willing to call a sin of your choosing out and denounce it, but not willing to do the same for homosexuality. Christians acknowledge that heterosexuals sin....and they call it sin. What is abnormal is for someone to deny sin and call sin good as homosexuals do.

I personally do not call divorce a sin.

I'm just saying it's very very very common yet there are absolutely
no laws on the books preventing it.

Just seems suspicious that Christians seek to change Constitutions
for one kind of sin...but design laws to make another one easier when
it suits their own needs.

Yes..it's hypocrisy.

And I don't care if anyone gets a divorce. Free country.

matthew,
You make a charge that Christians design the laws and change the constitution? You imply that divorce suits the needs of Christians? I rather think that liberals are the ones that you should be directing these charges toward. Almost every law that makes sexual promiscuity or deviant behavior more acceptable has come from liberals. Laws of no responsibility or consequences by killing innocent children are left driven. Sin upon sin are legislated by liberals.

Hard to argue with JimmyLynn.

Sorry but that's totally wrong.

Even the sainted Ronald Reagan was divorced.

A little fact!

The no-fault divorce revolution began in 1953 in Oklahoma!!

YES that liberal bastion of hippies and perverts.

Oklahoma!

Until August 2010, New York did not have a no-fault divorce procedure.

SO Oklahoma first...

New York last.

matthew,
So why did you and your fellow homosexuals let the horrible Christians taint your conservative state of New York and vote in no-fault divorce. I mean after-all you had more stake in the process once you attained the right to same-sex marriage in that state. Are you saying that homosexuals have no values? You seem to always come back to divorce as your main issue. Why? Could it be because homosexuals are the most notorious for massive numbers of sex partners in a lifetime?
jimmylynn Wrote: Apr 15, 2013 4:05 AM
Are you worried about your partner?
matthew466 Wrote: Apr 15, 2013 4:09 AM
So you admit your argument was wrong.

Apology accepted!
jimmylynn Wrote: Apr 15, 2013 4:32 AM
matthew,
I don't know where you came up with that from. Perhaps you just had no argument of your own. I don't believe I'm wrong about anything we've discussed. I have nothing to apologize for or what the apology you expect would be for, unless you actually too my sarcasm seriously.
matthew466 Wrote: Apr 15, 2013 4:42 AM
Every argument you presented was false.

Now you can have opinions...that's fine.

Just don't tell lies and I'm ok with everything.

Matthew 5:32 - But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Romans 1:26 - For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Romans 1:27 - And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

1 John 1:8 - If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Therefore pride is their necklace; they clothe themselves with violence. – Psalm 73:6

“Gay pride” necessitates anti-Christian hate. It must. “Gay marriage” and other “sexual orientation”-based laws do violence to freedom and truth. They are the hammer with which the postmodern left intends to bludgeon bloody religious liberty and the Judeo-Christian sexual ethic.

According to the unequivocal moral precepts of the Judeo-Christian tradition – explicit throughout both the Old and New Testaments – homosexual behavior is a sin. Sin is evil. Homosexual behavior is the central, defining characteristic of so-called “gay marriage.” Therefore, “gay marriage” is evil. Christians are obligated to...
