Obama is a leftist sympathizer through and through. He continues to prove it by his words, actions & the radical company he keeps. His vaunted Sec. of State is little better, both being avid Alinsky fans. Sad that they, like their 60's minions & other socialist and transnational colleagues, never grew up. Now poor Honduras--and America--must pay the price for their arrested development--at least for the remainder of Barry's embarrassingly ignominious presidency. He's an unmitigaged disgrace and disaster. Earlier this week, I called the Honduran embassy to express my support and encouragment for their adherence to constitutional values. This morning Lt. Col. Ralph Peters said it all: compared to Obama, even FDR can be correctly...

Fox Wars

Mr. Krauthammer's incisive and probing commentary once again elegantly cuts through the crap and clearly exposes the ugly truth. However, contrary to a prevailing theory out there that the WH's attack on FOX is but an aberrant, ill-advised and puerile attempt to divert our attention from healthcare, cap and trade, et. al. legislative travesties, I believe their foray against FOX is part of a larger, well-orchestrated and deliberate Saul Alinsky-type attempt to shut down dissenting viewpoints and embarrassing investigative journalism altogether. Despite our Community Organizer-in-Chief's deadly charm, an increasingly dictatorial White House has exposed itself as nothing more than a sty of self-serving thugs. Their unrelenting advocacy of...

EPA’s Threat to Jobs

Good post, Tony. Seems to me that until November 2nd, our only recourse is to rely upon the courage and deep pockets of corporate America to deluge the feds with suits against the EPA. If SCOTUS can reverse McCain-Feingold, it's silly EPA ruling is surely a candidate for reversal. And, though a tad assertive, perhaps a unified and defiant act civil disobedience on the part of corporate America, upon which we all economically depend, would effectively checkmate EPAs overreaching. In the face of tyranny, we all need to scrap the kid gloves. No more Mr. Nice & Compliant--not when dealing with the obscene thuggery and bullying of the Obama Regime.
Given Obama's well-documented history of associations and quotations and his self-identified communist/socialist appointees, when one couples these facts with his "we're only five days away from beginning to fundamentally transform the United States", then it's more than abundantly obvious that he is a dyed-in-wool socialist--or worse. And it's that "or worse" which should deeply trouble us all. Plain and simple, "clear and present danger" is, for me, synonymous with Obama and his Progressive minions in DC and around the country. Any American unwilling to openly and unashamedly calling Obama what he is is shortsighted and derelict. Political correctness is insulting and self-destructive.
Am convinced the author's analysis is in error. At this tumultous juncture, and given the widespread disenchantment with and fear of liberalism, aka progressivism, in DC, this right of center country is more committed than ever to genuinley conservative--not brain dead, accommodating, self-serving RHINO--candidates. As a county GOP committee member, I believe the party here sees the need to get back to its roots--its unabashedly conservative roots--in order to prevail in the upcoming elections. And I don't believe this county is unique in that regard. The Tea Partiers have their finger on the pulse. They are the people. And the GOP machine had better listen. It's as simple as that.
Obama promised to "fundamentally transform the United States", and he is doing just that. With his cynical appointments of self-avowed Communists,Socialists and Marxists as Czars and unaccountable advisors, how can there be any serious doubt as to the true nature of his agenda? We gingerly dance around the truth at our own peril. Now's not the time for political correctness. His actions and words have clearly defined his anti-capitalist goals for this once great Republic. Stand up or sit down!

Kill the Bills. Do Health Reform Right

because ruthless Progressives are in complete power, are ideologically driven and, thus, are completely deaf to the people's demand that gov't-run healthcare NOT pass. From their perspective, now is their only chance for a very long time to transform America into that fetid & dependent socialist state they've been shooting for since Wilson. It's a no holds barred struggle to destroy the last vestiges of our constitutional republic to ensure their own power. Our only salavation from this tyranny is the November 2010 election, at which time the entire healthcare package should be completely REPEALED, every shred of it obliterated. Then and only then, can common sense reform happen.Only then, can sanity and security be restored.
Congress has lost touch with reality & common sense and have utterly abandoned their responsibility to Americans and the Constitution. As if the constitutional violations, e.g. the individual mandate, are not enough, no amount of DC obfuscation and doublspeak can conceal the obvious: Obamacare or Baucuscare or Pelosicare provisions will unquestionably increase healthcare costs, eliminate competition, lower quality of care and lead to rationing. What the libs are perpetrating is a cynical expansion of government control. Absolutely nothing more than that. If the folks don't vote these tyrants out, then they should be forcibly ejected. And at the rate things are going now, I honestly believe that's exactly what's going to happen. From my...
Was at a townhall meeting with Rep. Massa last night. He always alluded to the Constititution, a copy of which he carried, to justify what the feds were doing.By quoting the first para of Art 1, Sec 8, he felt that he had authoritatively justified national health care and every other bit of overreaching on the part of the feds which he favored--even the czars! It was dismaying, but also underscored how far away our "reps" have moved from the original and intended meaning of the Constitution. Conservatives have their work cut out for them. No wonder we in such a mess.

Blame the Media for the Birther Movement

ON HIS FIRST FULL DAY IN OFFICE, why did Obama sign an Executive Order barring the release of his personal records? Important to note that never in America history has a sitting President ever done such a thing. What is this man, aka "Mr. Transparency", hiding? And why did the Democratic Congress so carefully vet McCain's Presidential eligibility (he was subsequently rendered eligible) during the campaign, but completely ignore the same level of scrutiny for Obama? Darn! More pesky "fringe" questions to muddy the waters. Going forward, on this issue well-founded questions and concerns far outweigh answers. Shouldn't that give you naysayers at least a semblance of pause?
