I couldn't disagree more. The Obama administration has had exactly zero success at improving US interests abroad or influencing real progress toward free societies. Our relations with the other major countries (Russia, China, India, Europe, Israel) have eroded beyond belief due to either weak or outright lack of meaningful action. Obama is only interested in domestic programs, aka socialism, and has no interest or skills when it comes to foreign relations. In Syria he hasn't displayed restraint, but instead cowardice.

I recently sent the following letter to his council office: Boy Scouts of America Flint River Council PO Box 173 Griffin, GA 30224-0005 Gentlemen; At the recent elevation ceremony for our grandson we pledged $150 to the Flint River Council and today received the invoice. Since that ceremony it has been announced by the Boy Scouts of America that scouting will begin accepting openly gay youngsters. We are very concerned by this decision and believe it violates the basic principles of scouting, not to mention our Christian beliefs and those of our grandson’s sponsor church. We will appreciate a written response detailing exactly if and how the Flint River Council will implement this decision. Until receipt of that response we will postpone issuing the above mentioned check.

In days past our immigration policies and laws allowed people with trades, skills or professions that were needed to facilitate the continued economic growth of the US. But now liberal influences encourage immigration by low skilled, poorly educated people, assuming they will vote Democrat after amnesty is granted. Unfettered immigration is destroying several European countries including the UK, the Netherlands and France. This same situation is being encouraged here by progressives to facilitate socialism and Marxism, just like in Europe. Unsustainable debt and unlimited immigration will be the downfall of the US. But history shows all empires fall for much the same reasons, so the US will be no different. Maybe after the collapse we'll get a mulligan.
