Salaries being revoked and taxed at 90% all because they took bailout funds. This $250 is a bailout, and if you take it, beware.

Seniors, your time is coming if you keep taking this money. You can't take gov't money and then complain when your bennies are cut or capped, which they will be. Today's largesse is condemned tomorrow. You'll see, even if it does take some time before it happens.

With massive cuts to the funding of medical care coming for the elderly, I recommend enjoying your $250 check. And it probably won't be YOUR healthcare that is cut, but that of your children. So enjoy that check, seniors, and take solace in the fact that your son/daughter will be left with a poorer medical care system to treat them. Most of you may not agree to this, but when so many of you don't say anything, then it's a little your fault. Greatest Generation indeed.

It will never happen. There won't be any "taking back the schools". The pervasiveness of the liberal bent in education, and the non-competitive nature of public education -- unlike the media -- make its being taken back impossible. It will never be "taken back", any more than the DMV and Post Office will begin having exceptional service; however, it might be replaced by other choices, other arrangements. Not until 20%-30% of students are going to and excelling in private/home schools will any thought of any change be considered.

Uber-Libs and closet socialist/communists are purposefully destroying the country economically. They wanted us to lose in Vietnam and Iraq because they hate the country and want to thwart our influence in the world, since we're a significant obstacle restraining a world-wide movement toward a socialist utopia. One way they can do this is to destroy us economically. They're doing a great job.

What gives them away is their wanton disregard for any detrimental effects for anything they're proposing. When people with such manifest purpose set out to destroy themselves, they're said to be suicidal or self-destructive. Say what you want, Beck educates in a way Stewart doesn't, and does so in an engaging way. And unlike all the stuffy, serious know-it-alls, he admits his weaknesses and past failings. If some of his rants are a bit odd, so be it. And if he sometimes tries to be oh-so even handed in his criticism of Republicans and Democrats as problemmatic -- when no way can the two be morally equivalent when it comes to abortion and entitlement and debt -- then criticize him and his message. But stop acting like he's not a loud voice.

The MSM acknowledge this. And the fawning treatment...

This was done for two reasons: embarrass Bush officials and ensure that the EEU War Crimes Division won't scoop Holder up the minute his plane lands in Spain or France.

The real problem isn't any of the things noted in this article. The source of the problem is governmentalism: that tendency and attitude to demand that the gov't solve our problems.

Our breakdown is so total and complete, that there can be no recovery except through utter financial ruin and catastrophe.
