I have pulled and unsafed the same pistol twice for personal protection. Once was an attempted car jacking(I should have said thwarted), the second time was at home. The second time it was merely the presence of my handgun in hand that sent a young "thug" down the road. That handgun is now gone, it was replaced by a G29 10mm Glock, it's more expensive to shoot, but has more capacity and knock down power. I highly reccomend one!
