You forgot the corrupt CBS 60 minutes piece on the Audi automobile's rapid acceleration sometimes when the brakes were applied. As a degreed and registered mechanical engineer and auto enthusiast since forever who sometimes takes his car to the road courses I knew this was preposterous and a lie. No auto transmission cars engine can over power its brakes - period. NO car can get to 60 mile per hour in the 150 or so feet it stops in-period.I proved it to my wife by loading up the brakes and flooring the accelearator in her own Audi. Predictably the torque convertor in the automatic transmission stalled. The car went nowhere.
