There are times when a profession should be licensed by the state. There some professions that need to be regulated. Doctors, lawyers, CPA's, police officers, architects, among others. I do agree that there are too many restrictions on too many occupations. I am self employed. I repair office equipment. Their are no standards set by the state as of yet. The only ones that control the business I am in is the customers. If you do not do a good job of repairing the equipment, then that customer will not call you back again. I am certain though that if the state legislator figures out a way to impose standards so they can charge a fee to stay in busines, they will.

Discounting Parents' Rights

Ann Anon has it partially correct. It was the muslims that showed the whites the supposed value of having slaves. Muslims had slave trading routes in place centuries before America was discovered. Yes, blacks would sell others into slavery. They would raid other villages and or capture others after a battle and sell them to to muslim arab slavers for a nice piece of change. The african-Americans who become muslims do not know history. Of course they are told that muslims are their friends. They do not realize that if given a chance the arab muslims would put them back in chains.

There are no christian private schools in Germany. The law that was enacted that outlawed private schools in was enacted in the 1930's by Hitler (a socialist by his words and actions) who read the writings of Woodrow Wilson and members of Wilson's inner circle. Hitler knew that if he and his followers controlled the children they controlled the future of Germany. At the end of WWII the allies could have removed this law from the books, but they allowed it to stay. Cashe wrote opined that we Americans are not responsible for home schooling children. From interacting with home schooling parents, they are less of a tax burden than government run schools.

In a few of the earlier comments some mentioned that pastors need to speak up on political issues and not worry about their 501(c) tax status. That the 501(c) code needs to be challenged as being totally unconstitutional. Which it is. Most people do not know the history of that section of the tax code. It came into existence in the early 1950's by a liberal morally corrupt politician named Lynon Banes Johnson. He had introduced in the, I think 1952 elections, to shut up 2 Baptist pastors who were preaching against his immoral conduct. As far as I am concerned 501(c) is a violation of the 1st amendment. Corrupt congressmen voted for it to shut up pastors who spoke against them.

No, Jesus was not born out of wedlock. Joseph was engaged to Mary before she became pregnant. He was seriously considering cancelling the marriage when it was discovered that she was pregnant. He would have been well within his rights to do so. Mary also faced the prospect of being stoned to death for being in violation of Mosaic law. But, he went ahead and married her. Thereby raising Jesus as his own. In todays world Joseph would be condemned by liberals for stepping up and taking care in raising Jesus/
No, the liberals would not get rid of the 1st Amendment, they would get rid of both the Declaration of Independance and the Constitution. Oh the liberals would draft another "constitution", but it would give them all sorts of government rights. The other folks in the nation would become thralls and slaves to them.

Abusing Due Process

The problem with the statement where everyone is guilty until proven innocent is that you never will be found innocent. You will always be guilty of something. Pat Robertson has stated on more that one occassion that when you leave your you probalby have violated at least 3 laws. That is how bad the laws have become in Amerika. The way things are now in Amerika is that the innocent are prosecuted and the guilty are set free. Speaking of government officals that is.
I still remember the statement the the great and terrible o made in the 2008 presidential race that has been ignored. When he was campaining during the race, the great o made the following statement "I will stand with my muslim brethern". Not Christian brethern, but his muslim brethern. This was after he said the revernd wright's "christian" church for 20 years. Oh Thats right he did sat in the pew bust did not listen to revernd wright's sermons.

The attrious attorney general eric holder sent that letter just to appear that it was their stance that they cannot and will not order a drone strike inside the confines of America. That letter is no worth the paper it is written on. It has the same effect that of the "treaty" that great liberal Neville Chamberlan got from adolf hitler (another self appointed annointed one) saying that hitler would not start another war. I do believe that there will drone strikes here in America when the annointed one and his staff thinks that they will be able to get away with it. The branch davidians were just a test run. The media swollowed the liberal story hook, line and sinker.

Moderate Muslim: Not an Oxymoron

Muslims have been murdering, enslaving other countries and people for centuries. The loast time I looked around modern day Christians are not murdering or enslaving countries lately. True Christians are against such behavior. The muslims are not, they may say they are not, but that is only because they are in the minority in this country right now. When the muslims get enough of a population they will really push for sharia slave laws here in America. Do not believe me? Just look at London.
