DHS and DOJ ignore the Rule of Law

I hope you have sent a copy of this article to the appropriate parties at DHS & DOJ -- along with the citations to the controlling statutes.

Postmodern Class Warfare

I am not a big fan of Warren Buffet since he spouted off about the income tax rates he pays. However, I wish someone would pick up on the fact that he said he paid $6 million dollars in income taxes last year to the Federal Government. I don't see how it can be said that some who has paid $6 million dollars in taxes cannot be said to have paid his "fair share". Lets get real. If $6 million is not a "fair share", I don't know what is!

Presidential Debates Are Not Serious

These are great questions. Too bad you are not one of the questioners at the debates. I am appalled at the fact that republican candidates permit their debates to be run by liberal media and their biased commentators.

Amending the 10th Amendment

Jim641 Wrote: Aug 10, 2011 4:49 PM
Sorry, but Perry's interest in amending the constitution is not at all inconsistent when it comes to the 10th amendment. At this point it is New York's right to pass any law that meets constitutional muster -- even if one disagrees with the law. However, once an amendment is passed . . . . In all of the States where the same sex marriage issue has been placed before the electorate it has been voted down.
You can say that the ruling is not likely to stand, but when Colorado passed a law saying you cannot give special preferences to homosexuals, it was struck down. Looks at what has happened since then.

A Conservative Defense of ObamaCare

Who does this guy think he's kidding? Congress has the right to regulate "interstate" commerce, not all commerce. Medical care is provided at the local level -- to turn it into interstate commerce you have to play liberal mind games. Further, insurance is at this point controlled at the state level (not counting the recent Arizona legislation) -- so, technically it also is not "interstate". Lawyers can argue all they want, but most people can read and understand the constitution and come to a more logical conclusion than the so-called experts.

The Trump Rebellion

I was thinking rather kindly toward Trump until I listened to the Glenn Beck show the other day. Beck played a number of snippets from comments by Trump before Obama was elected. Trump was spouting left wing talking points about George Bush being evil and that the Obama had a chance to be a great president. I never paid any particular attention to the Donald in the past. Comparing what he said in the past as compared to what he is saying now is an eye opener. Finding out that he is more likely a liberal than a conservative needs to be exposed now rather than later -- before he begins to think he has a chance and runs as a third party candidate ala Ross Perot.

The McClellan Republicans

I should also add that I do not think the Republicans should negotiate with the democrats. A negotiated settlement would only strengthen Obama's hand in 2012.

The McClellan Republicans

I never quite understood why Newt caved in 1994. Everyone knew that the media was on Clinton's side. At the time I thought closing things down made sense. I feel the same way today. As an aside - the federal government is in the business of funding the left. It provides money to CPB, NPR, Planned Parenthood, La Raza (just saw the article this AM) and who knows how many other leftist organizations (has Acorn been defunded?) -- not to mention all of the benefits provided to unions which in turn fund leftist democrats. We are probably also providing funding to MB sponsored organizations. Why does the Republican leadership not understand what is at stake?

I have not seen the email referred to in this article. I would appreciate it if someone would post the site where it can be found. Also is either the Lottery or Waiting for Superman available on the web?
