The trouble with big city conservative pundits is that they eventually lose touch with the base. Even you, Ann. Yes, Romney is a nice guy. Yes, he holds many conservative principles. But nobody is mentioning the elephant in the room: out here in the hinterland we still take our relationship with God seriously, more seriously than our interest in politics.
