Mysteries of an Immigration Law
Remember, a country consists of two things, a border and a culture. If you like the culture of some different country, please live there.
In 1950 I visited the UN Headquarters twice. I asked the UN to stop all immigration, world-wide, and replace it with Invitation. If a country asks for you, you can go. First change your way of life and your language, then change your citizenship.
I have no objection for anyone living where they have permission to live, and I have no complaints with what citizenship they have. Just quit complaining about where you live, and if you insist that the USA is best, but don't live here, don't bother telling people in the country you have chosen, that...

Salt Tyrants
On the News recently they were discussing the idea that if the Govt only raised the tax on so called Junk food, people would live longer, just like they raise the tax on tobacco and other things, so people are healthily and live longer.
I'll bet the next subject will be about all those old people who are living so long, and need billions of dollars more of Health Care.
You can imagine this subject is too long to tell all the details, but look at those two subjects.
They make people not to smoke or eat this or that, so their lives are not as happy as it could be, but they are unhappy longer.
Then the Govt needs all that tax that was collected "to make the people heather" to pay the medical expenses because...
Republicans Can Win the Immigration Reform Battle
The news just announced that two Hispanics have just escaped from jail near Los Angeles.
Are the police allowed to racial profile to find them?
Should Government Guarantee Our Right to Cars?
It is the job of the Government to do those things for it's citizens, that the citizen can not do for himself.
That includes paying for the Govt itself, the Military, roads, fire and Police, and many other things.
Socialism means the Govt is doing things the citizens can do themselves, like building cars, running banks, paying for college, and on and on.
Does anyone have a better definition?
And by the way, since these days a $5,000 funeral is DELAYED by a $250,000 medical procedure, does that make Health Care beyond the reach of the average citizen?
Everyone Prospers With Free Trade
Walmart would much rather sell 100 $25 hammers made in the USA, rather than sell 1000 $10 hammers made in China.
But would the customer buy them?
All these people who complain that work is being sent to China, would have to admit they buy the China product because it is cheaper.
Let's say you open a store across the street from Walmart, and stock only products made in the USA.
How long would you stay in business.
No one makes any money importing from China. They make money when you buy the product made in China.
You don't buy, they don't import.
Meddlers at the Gate
Did you ever notice that many of the brokers, lawyers, economists, and govt officials, brag that they attended Yale, Harvard, or Princeton, and many other places where the main subject is how to party?
They are friends, relatives, or classmates.
It is obvious none of so called Classes taught you how to be a nice citizen.
For many years I had a friend who had his PhD from Columbia, another degree from MIT.
I often asked him questions about the crooks and liars in the money business, and what classes taught them how to be idiots.
He admitted that in 75 years in a classroom as student and professor, the subject never came up, especially how not to be a crook and liar.
No one was interested in...
Free Speech for Us
And by the way, when someone quotes the First, they can not just state the first clause. That is a comma, not a period. You must not leave out the second clause.
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;
Now tell me, how can you outlaw a Day of Prayer? It is covered by the "free exercise thereof."
