Unemployment Rate Hits 10.2%

Noone is saying your hero caused it. We're saying that he could have avoided the rise by lowering taxes on businesses and individuals to get the money flowing. It works every time, but he knows that if he lowers tax revenues and keeps spending like a drunken sailor even you loafer lickers will figure out that we're deeper in a hole. You libs look to be getting your health care, but in the mantime his lack of focus on the economy is costing you losers your jobs. Take that free insurance down to the grocery store and see how well you can feed your family. You libs can't see the forest for the trees. Enjoy it while you can.
Car insurance mandates are in place to protect the innocent "other" person from getting screwed. Not to protect me from myself. That's a very obvious difference. You libs need to put that tired argument to rest.
You libs think about this. If your car insurance was covered by the government and you had zero liability, would you be so careful to avoid collisions? The answer is no. Health care will be the same. People will be smoking, and eating, and drinking like a Roman orgy knowing that there health care costs are covered by us the taxpayer. Morons. You libs should stick to your artsy endeavors and let the business people handle the nations finances.
Are you serious? Have you noticed that there is nothing in the bill saying that abortions or health care for illegals won't be provided? You call us liars because you think that we're claiming something that we're not. We can read and see that it's not in the bill. We want specific language detailing it one way or the other. If this bill goes through as written, what would stop an illegal immigrant from walking in and getting health care at our expense? Do you not see what our actual problem is?
Also, no it doesn't say that they will be setting up death panels. It does say that they want mandatory end of life counseling for seniors. Could that possible evolve into something else? Yes it could, because there are no specifics....
how have your first two bullet points been slapped down? Because the president said so? Don't you agree that putting in specific language preventing people here illegally from getting covered would quiet down the critics? Unball your fists, think for a second, and let's hear the answer. Secondly, do you believe everything that you're told? Most rational people are at least a little skeptical. You liberals just jump in feet first. Maybe that's why the conservatives own most of the businesses.
As a conservative, I've never spent one second on KOS or Hufpo. Why do you guys waste your time here? A place where everyone thinks you're a joke.
Lilly, there is a way to write a bill in a direct manner, that leaves nothing to trust. This is what frustrates us. When you bought your house, the contract was precise and didn't leave anything open to interpretation. This bill should be the same way. Conservatives have compassion, we want the same things for our country that you want, we just want to get there a different way. And, we want details.
Liberals don't really care about the effect of this bill. They just care about a win for their boy. How else can you argue that people are dying because they can't afford insurance?...
Bush is all over town. He just made a big speech in Fort Worth yesterday. What you call "being in exile" is actually GW showing major class by not interfering with the new administration. I'm sure that he'd love to pop on tv every day and defend his actions, but unlike obama, he's a grown mann and can deal with the negative comments. He and Laura are sorely missed by citizens that appreciate class, tact, and backbone in their president. Your numbnut hero and his hateful wife could learn tons if they were forced to by you minions.
you're kind of civil today for once, you feeling ok? As an African American, would you be this interested in democratic political issues if the president was white? I ask because when discussing things with my black friends, they don't take my criticism as being against a policy, they take it as a slap to the face of the black race. I think you fall in this category. How dumb would it be of me to constantly support everything Guilani stands for because I'm Italian? That's how odd the black stance looks to me.

That's my point, they are receiving the same level of care. The indigent use Medicaid and SCHIP to go to basically the same doctors that I go to, and it's paid for. They are not getting inferior care because they are poor. The one's suffering make too much to qualify to for programs, but they choose not to pay for their policies. It's a choice that they made.
I have a friend that works for me when he needs money. He's on welfare, and doesn't claim any income on his taxes. He certainly doesn't have health insurance. I didn't see him for about 2 months so I asked him where he had been. Turns out that his wife has diabetes, and they were in the hospital the whole time, and then in rehab to learn how to walk. They didn't have...

we conservatives know that there are people struggling everywhere, and contrary to what you think, none of us like it one bit. We're not as heartless as you make us out to be. Conservative charitable donations far outweigh liberal doantions. Circumstances do occur that are devastating. We get it. What I never understand about your health care arguments is that people are dying because they are poor. Poor people are covered through Schip, and Medicaid. Millions of poor are elegible and never sign up. We need to do a better job of that for sure. Your side wants to tear down our entire system of health care to help the people 300% of the welfare line that can afford health care but don't want to pay the premiums. This isn't about...

You sound like a very nice person but you seem very misguided. Your salary is what you and your employer agree that your service is worth. In one of Obama's countless tv appearances, Diane Sawyer was asking how to limit the profits of of the insurance companies, like profit is a bad word. I'm willing to bet that when she negotiated her television contract her agent never uttered the words "that's too much. Pay me way less". If your boss offered to pay you $20 an hour more starting tomorrow, I'm sure you'd be all over it. These CEO's that you reference put themselves in position of being in demand. When companies hire them and offer them huge incentive bonuses, are they supposed to say no? Pay me less? Everyone wants what they...
