What's the point of early voting if you have to stand in a big line? California has no early voting and I have never stood in line more than 15 minutes for any election. You just need to have a lot of polling stations on election day.

Here in Seattle, at the polling place where I used to vote before they switched to voting by mail, they had more than a dozen voting machines. However, there were still long lines because the idiots running it would only open three or four of them no matter how many people showed up to vote. People who were still waiting in line when the polls were supposed to close were then told they had to leave because the election was over and they were denied their right to vote, even though the law says that if they were already inside they should be allowed to cast their ballot.
