William Perhaps your perceptions of what I stated are a bit to mythological, I sure hope you don’t vote. I did not state when why or how I came by the firearms but you injected your opinion and as it its well known everyone has an opinion, it seems to me that your opinion is very pointed and very one directional. I did not make a statement of the surrounding events, but again your pointed opinion was again injected, so just to clear up your remarks here is a summery of the events. Case one: The 308 this was the first rifle I ever had miss fire. My son had the rifle in his hands and it was pointed in a safe direction, it was safe enough to not have blown my head apart and I was down hill from him at the time, and when he released the...
Case two: The 30-06 this gun was laying on the ground and when I went to unload it, the muzzle was pointed at the ground, when I released the safety the firearm discharged. Again I took it in and had the rifle repaired and did not dry over the event.

When the 7 mm Mag went off it blew apart the transmission case in my car.
When the 308 went off the muzzel was about 4 inches from my left ear, and that reduced the hearing in that ear.
I own a Remington model 600-308 and (one ea) Remington model 700-30-06 and 7mm mag and all three of these have had miss fires, when that happend I took these rifles to my gunsmith and he upgraded them all, super glue and locktight work well to help some situations. The cost to repair the 600 was on Remington but I had to pay for both of the model 700 repairs.
Which side of your mouth are you talking out of, the rigt or left?
