So let them pack their own lunches if they don't like the food. Who are you, Ronna, to tell me that I have to pay for other people's children to eat garbage, then pay for all the medical problems that come as a result of their obesity? And please remember to take your meds.

Kind of useless to tell a Regressive to not be rude and superior in attitude. They have no other setting.

I grew up when school lunches were much more caloric than they are today, and childhood obesity was not a concern. Children are not obese because of their school lunch. And please remember not to be rude and superior in attitude.

You are ignorant. No act can change the Constitution. This is not rocket science and that is probably why you don't get it.

There are lunch bucket police. You just said so.

The issue is not about the diet. You cannot get this through your thick skull. No doubt the nutritious food you have eaten has done little to advance your intellectual processes and been wasted on you. You probably had been better off eating twinkies for breakfast lunch and dinner. The issue is the unlawfulness of the feds, and not how appropriately they are unlawful.

Nullify, The National School Lunch Act, enacted in 1946, provides funding to schools for food programs. It isn't required and schools don't have to take the money. But if they do, there are guidelines to what can be served.

What's wrong with that?

And no, Nullify clearly you don't have kids in school. There are no "lunch bucket police". The only thing they aren't allowed to bring to school are Lunchables (which no one should be eating), Candy (which should not be at school) and Peanut Butter because some kids have severe nut allergies and even being around or coming into contact with it will cause them to have breathing problems. (And the peanut butter is a class by class thing if someone has the allergy)

The only problem is the lunch bucket police. They will forbid students from eating unapproved foods. IT IS CRAZY.

Thank you JGriggs... have these people complaining are probably obese and take all kinds of medication because they have terrible diets. No one with a good diet would complain about such a thing.
In Wisconsin, high school athletes are complaining about not getting enough to eat each day, due to the skimpy new school lunch menu mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The story we published earlier this week on that subject is unfortunately not unique. Students across the country are complaining about the new school lunch regulations.

Perhaps the real motive is to starve students into slimming down. Just ask students in Pierre, South Dakota who, too, are in an all-out revolt.
