OK but as far as political asylum goes, that makes a HUGE difference. The only thing that matters for asylum is the first three words of your response..."It does not". I get wanting to home school your kids, I really do, and while I wouldn't do it with mine, I have no problem with those who do it to their kids (except the ones who teach for like an hour a day and let their kids play the rest of the day - i know a few too many of those and their kids are as dumb as dirt!). But it just doesn't qualify.
Again with the comrade garbage. No wonder you follow Starnes.
Uh, yeah, that is according to Farris. If you want to consider actual facts, it is because they want all kids in Germany to receive an equal education. But you can listen to the guy who is trying to spin it if you so choose. Again, the parents claim their Christian beliefs require homeschooling. If you can show me where in the Christian religion this is mandated, then I'll issue a mea culpa.
Nice. Nice. Pull out the old "communist" routine. Intelligent. Well Judge Lawrence Burman was in error. Homeschooling has nothing to do with one's religion. The parents can put the kids in school legally, keep their kids, and file for legal immigration to a country that will allow them to homeschool. As long as an alternative exists that doesn't present a hardship, it is not a reason for political asylum. There is nothing in the Christian religion that mandates homeschooling your children. It is a choice they are making.
Because it isn't persecution. If they don't like the rules of the country they live in, they are free to legally immigrate elsewhere, they don't have to stay. Isn't that what you all claim about all the illegals living here? Doesn't seem to matter to anyone what their home situation is. I have a suspicion that if this family wasn't Christian and lily-white, you all would be clamoring for them to be sent back to where they came from.
Lack of homeschooling is NOT a reason for political asylum. They want to come to the us, do it through legal immigration. Sorry, I don't see how this is discrimination against Christians OR homeschoolers. What a crock. Just another fluff story by faux journalist Starnes to get the minions riled up.

Are these the same Christian "fanatics" that were bashing Wicca on Faux News a couple of weeks ago, and who introduced legislation in the US Senate in 1999 to BAN the practice of Wicca? Or are we supposed to be consoled by the fact that at least Christians aren't trying to kill Wiccans? At least, not any more.....

OK let me be more specific for you then. "Hundreds of rebuttal posts on past similar Todd Starnes stories tell me..."
