100th Anniversary of the Income Tax

Why not show what the top bracket percentage was during the GOP administrations of Eisenhower and Nixon - a time when the wealthiest did quite well. Nowadays, we have the wealthiest hollowing out tax dodges with their expensive accountants on their payroll. If you think they pay their FAIR SHARE of a mere 39.6% then you're delusional or stupid, and probably both. Look no further than what Romney *finally* revealed of his own taxes -- well below the percentage you and I pay. You make the world sick with your whiny, self-absorbed stupidity.

Yeah right. Romney's taxes also showed that he gives over 20 percent of his income to charity, giving him a combined out-of-pocket with income taxes of 36%.

Funny thing about charities -- they have accountability, transparency and they don't kill people.

But you just want the money for that black hole in DC don't you?

Today is the 100th birthday of the income tax. On February 3, 1913 the 16th amendment was ratified, which enabled the establishment of the federal income tax. This is ever in our mind as tax season is now upon us.

Look at this graphic that Americans for Tax Reform released in honor of the 100th anniversary:
