The gun control debate is deja vu of the Obamacare debate. The Dems wasted two years and spent all their time and energy forcing that monstrosity on us. As the economy stagnated, unemployment soared, and our foreign policy blew up in our faces. But to them it was all about healthcare. And they made the citizens so mad that the Tea Party Movement was created. And now they're doing it again. The Dems are wasting all their time and energy forcing gun control on us. While the economy continues to die a slow death, millions are still losing jobs, and our foreign policy is a laughingstock around the world. But to them it's all about gun control. And they made the citizens so mad that the Come And Take Them movement was created. Deja Vu.

Sad things in both. Obamacare has nothing to do with health care, it's all about government power and higher taxes. If you buy an Obamacare policy good luck finding a doctor or hospital that 's willing to meet the conditions.

Obama just passed 23 gun control laws all by himself. Name me one of them that has any chance of lessening violent crime.

That is because the Democrats have no idea what to do about the economy. So, thye create distractions. This is Argentina talking about the Falklands. If the economy is poor and you have no idea what to do, then distract, distract, distract.

I’d say the dems know exactly what they are doing. Remember the goal is to “fundamentally transform” this country. While they’ve made progress to that end much still needs to be done and before they take advantage and do things the otherwise could not they need other crises to occur. These people are not finished…

I periodically share public opinion data, either because I’m encouraged by the results or because I think that the research helps show how to frame issues.

Examples include polling data on personal retirement accounts, the dangers of big government, support for spending caps, and viability of class warfare tax policy.

But I’ve been very narrowly focused. Just about all the polls I’ve shared have been about some...
