Evolution and Creation theories should be considered philosophical or religious views rather than scientific views since neither of them can be proven or disproven using the scientific method. Remember that a good hypothesis is one that can be disproven. If it can’t be disproven, it’s not a good hypothesis. We will all find out after our mortal bodies fail to function. I believe in Popper’s method. A hypothesis should become a theory only after it has faced honest efforts to prove it’s false. Therefore an honest scientist will state the conditions under which the hypothesis can be disproven, and then try to disprove it even if s/he is the one who came up with the hypothesis. Take for example the hypothesis. All crows are black. We can find all of the black crows we want, but finding black crows doesn’t prove the hypothesis, but finding one crow that isn’t black would disprove it. When I went to college, I wrote a lot of papers. Some of the professors didn’t even read the papers; they simply gave us points for turning in the assignment. Other professors at least read the papers for content. Why not grade these papers in a way that helps students improve their writing skills.
