Mona: Get the facts straight. The 47% are the ones who do not pay taxes or get money back from the government because the make "too little". The retired, the parents with a child deduction all PAY taxes on their income. Including Social Security, their pensions, etc. It is the 47% who have no skin in the game that Romney was referring to. Why would they vote against a President openly running on the theme that he wants to redistribute the wealth. Take from the makers and give to the takers is exactly what is happening and did happen here.

Typical Obama voter in 2009: there is a long line of people waiting around the block in Chicago. A reporter asks a young woman what is she waiting for; she answers that they are giving money. The reporter askes her what money; she answers "From Obama's stash!"
In 2012 a reported askes a yound woman who is she going to vote for. She answers: "Obama - he gave me a telephone!"

Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest of these: It Might Have Been." --John Greenleaf Whittier

The pundit world will now eviscerate Mitt Romney, a man who, had he garnered just a few hundred thousand more votes in a few key districts, would have been hailed as political genius. Instead, his every fault will be examined, his mistakes magnified and his defeat decreed to be, in retrospect, inevitable.

Romney was not my first choice. I had been hoping for Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels. But in the course of the long campaign, I had come to admire Romney immensely....
