If the cost of labor goes up, and in order to maintain your curent income, you need to do one of two things, reduced labor costs, which by the way are you biggest expense, or increase prices. Price increases during a slow economy with high food costs and fuel costs? or Laying off? Simple, LAY OFF OR DONT REHIRE ANYONE. Its a no brainer if you ever owned a business like i have. Also minimum wage is again for first time jobs and most are teenages. My first job, Disneyland, minimum wages. age 16 still in high school.
