Net unemployment rose 4% to over 8%, but in reality, there are 4% fewer Private Jobs, so Therefore, Total Unemployment is about 12%, and this is being optimistic.

Since most of the data in post-election polling has offered little beyond a parade of ugly news, here's a glimmer of hope from Gallup:
