Then came the younger Mr. Bush, the tax cuts, the disappointing expansion and the worst downturn since the Depression. Yea, this was never allowed to come full circle. It takes a long time and there is no way the Liberals were going this to happen. They Created a Crises, the Housing/Financial Bubble. Dodd Frank and Chuck the Schmuck Schumer had it all lined up. Then there is the Pelosi, Reid and Obama SPENDING. We went from $5.8 Trillion in 2007 to over $16 Trillion now. TEN TRILLION, where did it all go?

Jerry, what the democrat/socialist/regressive will never mention is that Ø inherited a recovery. The recession officially ended in June of 2009, which means that there had been positive economic growth for three consecutive months. Ø did absolutely nothing before the recession ended.

You are sooooo correct, they (democrats) created the feeling of crisis and panicked everyone into letting him spend money to pay back his contributors and, as fascist do, pick who they wanted to be the winners. Unfortunately for Ø Solyndra and the other took the money and ran (so typical of loser democrats).

Well, this move by Speaker Boehner doesn't exactly follow my Simpson-Bowles playbook to a tee -- but Erskine Bowles does make an appearance, and Republicans are going on (realistic, reasonable) offense.  In a new letter addressed to the president, House Republican leaders firmly reject the president's non-starter "proposal," pointedly decline to counter with an equally unrealistic wish list, and offer an alternative bipartisan solution:
