This president has done almost everything he can to kill jobs. At his SOTU speech, he pushed for a 24+% increase in minimum wage. That should insure continued loss of jobs throughout the remainder of his presidency and beyond.

True story. I used to buy my lunches at local fast food joints. They've had t raise their prices as a result of the last min wage hike. Now I bring my own. These places no longer get my business. How many other people do the same?

The Left does not believe in the economic law of supply and demand. Period.

They don't believe that companies can't afford to hire as many workers if they have to pay each worker a lot more.

They don't believe that consumers will buy less of a product if it costs more.

President Obama rehashed many familiar themes this evening, calling on Congress to act on a host of issues -- and vowing to take unilateral executive action if they fail to sufficiently address his priorities.  A few passages were newsworthy: Obama denounced the looming sequester cuts, voiced support for "modest" Medicare reforms, called for another stimulus, resurrected cap and trade, pushed comprehensive immigration reform, backed a national hike in the minimum wage, announced another major troop draw-down in Afghanistan, and insisted that Congress allow up-or-down votes on a series of gun control measures.  As is his habit, the president was...
