It's ok to be angry with politicians who have taken money from the Social Security Trust (?) Fund and spent it on other things. Who are these people that now call for "shared sacrifice"? They are the same thieves who stole our Social Security money, not corporate CEOs. If you think corporate CEOs are making too much money, don't buy the goods and services their companies sell. But why fixate on corporate CEOs? Why not include the players in professional sports and other entertainment industries? Why not Bill Gates or Steve Jobs? And what about the obscene amounts of money unions contribute to lobby our politicians.

The last time we met “This Old Socialist,” Congresswoman Maxine Waters, (D-Delusional), she was being probed for “ethics violations,” which is fed-speak for “things for which you and I go to jail, but which is legal for congress.”

Waters, then, was gamely trying to vie for a leadership position on the Financial Services Committee despite a dogged investigation regarding her finances and influence peddling that had dragged out for months. She was doing so in the wake of the announcement that the committee’s ranking Democrat, Barney Frank (D-Dope) (pun intended) was leaving congress to fulfill his lifelong dream of getting married...
