BS, a sizable number of illegal guns are from gun shows. DO you think they are that stupid not to buy in places where they aren't checked? Talk about living in a fantasy world.

Why Don Opposes Capital Rape

So if we execute those convicted of rape, who will it be? A 20 year old who has consensual sex with his 15 year old girlfriend? Rape if the woman was considered too intoxicated for consent and if so, at what blood alcohol level? What if the man was intoxicated also? What if the man was intoxicated and not the woman? Second considering all the innocent men freed from death row for murder convictions, do we really want to open up a new can of worms? Just end the death penalty

I am sure all the violent felons who can't buy guns from federally licensed dealers, are very glad that now they have the convience of still buying it from gun shows and non-federally licensed dealers, in many states. It makes it very easy for them Of course we can honor the honesty of these people, they wouldn't go to these gun shows. We can trust them, because if we can't trust armed robbers, murderers and thieves not to buy guns at gun shows, who can't we trust?
David is right, who cares what 90% of Americans and even 80% of NRA members want. What is important are the opinions of the gun makers of the NRA, the real financial backing of the NRA and probably other anti-gun control groups. It is what their opinion matters. It is the opinion of Colt or Smith and Wesson. Their opinion is what counts. So some violent felons can walk up to a non-federally licensed dealer at a gun show in some states and buy a gun without a background check? Who cares, Colt and other gun makers have spoken and the Senators in the GOP know who they work for. It is not their own voters, but the gun makers.
I agree with the author that the prohibitions on gun possession too broad. Non-violent felons shouldn't be barred for life in owning guns. Once off of probation/parole they should be able to own a gun once again. But the fact is, too many violent felons do go to buy guns from gun stores. Yes, step up prosecutions of course of these people but they should not be able to go to a gun show in some states and buy a gun. Because, some do. Also there is the problem of straw purchasers.

Is USC Another Left-Wing Seminary?

Did Prager get a D from some professor, making him treat with disdain and contempt anything from a university? I hope if Dennis needs surgery he doesn't get a surgeon who went to college. After all, college corrupts according to Dennis, so better to have some guy whose medical knowledge consists of the bible.

Do you know how stupid you sound to call anything you don't like political correctness? So under you belief, it would have been wrong for a political science professor in 1964 to offer an opinion on the Civil rights movement or Dr. King? Or in 1973, a poli sci professor an opinion on Watergate? That would be absurd. I majored in political science, there are a number of subgroups within it. Liberalism is a subgroup within it as is conservativism.

Amazing how much Prager whines about colleges, for someone with numerous advanced college degrees. Is he going to give them back?

Dennis does realize this is a political science professor, right? While I don't agree with everything he said, it isn't wrong for a political science professor to offer an opinion, on you know, politics.
Really, that isn't what he said? Let's see he mentioned NAMBLA and beastility. NAMBLA is an organization that lobbies for sex with children, including young children. That isn't association gay couples with child molestors? Please tell me what Dr. Carson meant exactly?
