Your missing the point it's about freedom. the freedom not to be compelled to pay for someone else's insurance. what if it were car insurance or homeowners insurance? do you still think the government should run it? Or to rephrase the question do you (assumed) tax payer feel you should pay for my homeowners(renters) & car insurances? There critical and millions of people don't have them how about the services the government does provide like the post office, do you feel it is a model business. Should Fedex or UPS adopt their practices? What about the DMV is it better run than your local McDonald's? Better yet would you turn your medical records to George W Bush?

The bridge to nowhere wasn't killed by Pelosi it was killed by then governor Palin. And because of Palin Stevens lost his seat because of corruption charges. And all of your Bush spent crap is just proves that you know little or nothing about government. You are right Bush signed the bills but most of the P.O.R.C spending was inserted into those bills by Dems because they knew he wouldn't veto any spending bill because he would also have to veto war spending. Bush wasn't close to being a great president but I'd take him back in a heartbeat if it means getting rid of Obama.
