Anyone can call themself a Christian. But Matthew 7:21-23 will apply to many.
in Christian marriages, the husband (man) is to love his wife (woman) like Christ loves the church. That means he is to love her more than himself. That's a true marriage. anything else is not a Christian marriage, even if the couple say they are christians. Jesus reiterates Genesis 'man and woman become one' in Matthew and then Paul through the Spirit expouses in Ephesians and Colossians.

Where is your evidence that gives such opinion? Without evidence, aren't you looking in the mirror as you state your assertion?
When the Bill of Rights was written, Farmers actually had better weapons than the official US army. Our Founding Fathers would have put some kind of equalization in the 2nd Ammendment if they were worried about it...but they didn't. It is clear that the 2nd Ammendment was written to protect us from the government.

Iremond, while you may be correct from a law sense, I wish you would consider showing more peace and love in your words.

If you are a true believer and believe that, you would do everything you could to prevent that while praying that the Spirit works through you to reach their heart.

agreed. it speaks of how believers should reach out to their neighbor and potentially take on some of those burdens, and it also speaks to how hysterical this makes the Father of Lies.

Agreed, I think the Republican 'alternative' is to get government out of the way and let the free markets figure it out the most efficiently. Said differently, why would the conservative alternative involve more government?
