My Apology to Mormon Readers

I can tell you what Mormons do not teach our children. We don't waste one minute teaching our children to hate groups of people based on religious preference. In fact we expect our children to memorize the Articles of Faith by the time they are 12 to help them know and understand how we feel about other faiths. https://www.lds.org/scriptures/pgp/a-of-f/1.11?lang=eng Number 11 says that We claim the priviledge of worshipping God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same, let them worship how, where, or what they may. Those of you having All about those demon Mormons education night at your local church may not believe that you are spewing hate, but I and my children have been on the receiving end of this bigotry since I was a child. One young mother stands starkly in my memory. Her father was one of those Pastors always ripping on the Mormons and she told me that she was so fed up with the Mormon hate that she left her church. Another child whose father was a Pastor told my then seven year old daughter upon learning that we were Mormons, "Oh, we hate you." I would ask those of you who feel compelled to write, talk, teach, enlighten, and misrepresent my faith to those around (including Mike Adams) you if something more productive and positive could be accomplished with your energy? I recently typed up a blog post about the dumbing down of the Saxon Math curriculum. The whole education establishment needs to be privatized and divorced from Federal Money: http://jennyhatch.com/2013/04/30/uncommon-lore-the-original-saxon-math-curriculum-math-a-firm-foundation-to-build-a-homeschool-on/
I believe current birth practices groom parents to bow down to authority. When Mothers are threatened with legal action if they decline labor and birth drugs and/or surgery deemed to be in "the best interest of the child", this bullying can deprive parents of the natural God Given instinct to protect and defend their children from harm. Parents who give birth with autonomy set up patterns of behavior that often lead to homeschooling, keeping children close when they are preschoolers, and making more time for family. Our C section rate is fast reaching south american levels, with certain American Hospitals at seventy and eighty percent... I believe Mothers claiming sovereignty over birth will help restore Parental Authority.
