Christie: 'You're Damn Right' I'll Be More Prepared to Run in 2016

Christie has A LOT of flaws but he would be a good president. I think it's foolish to dismiss him.

He would not be a good president. He is too much of a liar, and I do believe we've had enough of that, don't you? He panders and he lies. He is too self serving. He can't shut his mouth when he needs to. He lacks the temperament to be effective, and he is a publicity hound. Nope. I'm not voting for him, even if he's all there is left to vote for. Done playing that game.

I may not "Dismiss" him, but I will "Dis" him.

It depends on how you define "good president." From what I've seen of Christie so far, he'd be a disaster as a President from a Conservatives point of view....anti-American liberals, however, have a lot to love in this guy.

An anti-gun bigot can not be anything but a bad president. Civilian disarmament is un-American, and it is more morally repugnant than race and class hatred, since it has been an essential factor in all of the oppression, slavery, and genocides caused by those two things. Supporting it is a serious character flaw, that shows the direction Christie would lead us. And if so many people stayed home on election day because the RINO Romney wasn't worth voting for, why do you think they would go out and vote for another RINO? What's wrong with the Republicans nominating a patriot? Just try it one time and see if it works.

No one's "dismissing" him. Many of us, however, won't vote for him in the primary.

Yeah, you're damn right I'm writing a 2016 post...you got a problem with that, chump?  (Forgive me, I'm still fine-tuning my Chris Christie impression).  But in all seriousness, it's a slowish news week, and I've managed to resist the general subject for well over a month -- this minor detour excluded -- so why not?   Christie is gearing up for his re-election campaign in New Jersey, which could turn out to be something of a romp.  His ratings are sky high, his toughest potential challenger decided to focus his ambitions
