"That's not love; that's a gang of pushers trying to hook as many customers as possible." That sums it up nicely, John
"More guns means less crime period" is an untrue statement--with the following modification it is more accurate: More guns IN LAWFUL CITIZENS' POSSESSION means less crime, period.
"What happened in Benghazi is a tragedy. We’re investigating exactly what happened. I take full responsibility for that fact." Anyone else read this the way I did? He takes full responsibility for the fact that "we're investigating exactly what happened."?? Not for the incident and inept handling of security that allowed it to happen, but for us investigating things now. So he still hasn't claimed responsibility for the entire debacle.
Funny comment, "He didn't call your father a liar, he just said he wasn't telling the truth," Um, wake-up call O'Donnell, you can call someone a liar without using the word liar--if someone isn't telling the truth that makes them a liar. If I say your mother was paid money to spend time with morally deficient men in seedy hotels, I haven't called you a Son of a Wh____, have I? Of course I have, I just used more words to do it in!
Wow--seriously unhinged. He really got worked up about that jokular comment by Tagg didn't he?
Love Rubio's comment when he first got on stage--apparently the teleprompter was distracting him. "What, is Obama speaking here today? Get rid of that thing, it's distracting."
Love RudyGiuliani's comment, "..he [Obama] seemed to be searching desparately for his teleprompter." Hilarious and probably an accurate assessment!
Why are we calling Fast and Furious a "botched" operation? Things went down exactly as the people that planned this wanted them to--they wanted people killed with these guns and to have the guns found at crime scenes so they could loudly proclaim that we need gun control. The only "botched" part of this was whisleblowers leaking out that ATF was involved in getting the guns to the drug cartels.
A simple CBA would most likely show that firing all "meter maids" and getting rid of all parking meters would actually save the city money. Heck, imagine how much money they might actually bring to the city if they hired minimum wage employees to do these jobs (honestly, it doesn't require any education or skills beyond a driver's license)!

The Roberts Opinion: It's Not All Bad

Kate, Excellent analysis of this decision--I have read it but could only think that the decision allowed Congress to do more through tax law, not less through the commerce clause. You are correct though, this is no new thing for Congress and now it is time to through those out that do such things (as suggested by Roberts)!
