Why Netflix Could Keep Plunging

Jeffrey135 Wrote: Apr 26, 2012 5:06 PM
I dropped Netflix recently because I was only interested in the streaming & their streaming content isn't as good not that they don't have Stars & have also lost the rights to stream many other movies. Get the content back Netflix and the customers will come flocking back.

When Obama is Re-elected, "It's On"

Reading the comments here. Glad to see you are so sure that Obama is out in November. I'm not convinced & so am scared.
Has the President recognized this soldier's sacrifice?
Calling Trayvon a thug when we don't know the whole story undermines your point. Lord I'm no fan of the President or the Democrats, but if you want people to take you seriously you have to try and stick with the facts.

Whose Movie Is Propaganda?

Long thread here so I don't know if it's been pointed out. But there is a market here and it has been noticed by Hollywood. Ever heard of the Narnia movies? Voyage of the Dawn Treader has made over $451 Million worldwide. Also, as previously noted Gibson's Passion made over $600 Million. Entertainment with a positive message. How amazing is that. Think you'll be seeing more in the future.
game over. time to hold our noses and vote for Romney.
Went to see it. If you want to see Navy SEALs in action that is probably as close as you'll ever see without becoming a SEAL yourself, this is the movie for you. Don't go thinking you'll be 90 minutes of escapist fantasy. Overall the action was just OK, but I agree the interrogation scene was worthy of a 24 Episode. Intense, but it also shows the humanity of the SEAL interrogator. One thing I thought was good was the bad guys were real people too. They came across as real people too, not Hollywood caricatures of terrorists. I had the hardest time understanding the motive of the billionaire providing financial support to the terrorists because he didn't seem to be making money & he also wasn't a believer of the terrorist's mission.

Why I Chose Newt Over Santorum

Jeffrey135 Wrote: Feb 14, 2012 11:57 AM
Where'd you see Newt's vote on establishing the current incarnation of the Department of Education? I confirmed Newt's 1st year in congress was 1979 which is the same year Jimmy Carter established the Department of Education as a cabinet level agency. However, when I try to look up Newt's voting record, I only see back as far as 1992. One caveat to looking at Santorum's voting record. This is usually why Senators historically aren't elected as President. Obama's game plan was the white house from early on. That's why when you look on project vote smart you'll see "Did Not Vote" by so many of his Senate votes. Anyone that actually participated, i.e. did their job, can be made to look anyway you want by picking out some of their votes

Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind?

Great column and reminder Mike. I can remember when the preacher would always give us a call if we missed a Sunday growing up. Such a thing would actually surprise me today. We can change this if we're willing. It'll be hard for me, but if not me, who. *whew* ... what a thought. knocking on a door and inviting someone to church.
