Forget Bain. It is not like Romney was "investing" a half trillion of taxpayer money on Solyndra, a company that couldn't make payroll. However, Mitt will have to be able to advocate for Bain and that is an opportunity to advocate for capitalism. Based on his defense of Obamneycare, I am not sure he's up to the task. Thank goodness Obama has a record to run on.

Romney became the 2012 Republican nominee when he agreed to quit his campaign in 2008 and stump for McCain. That is why I supported Ron Paul this time. It is a Catch 22: Republican voters want a conservative. Establishment Republicans won't allow a conservative to win.

Is that fullofgas or whatanass? It isn't that corporations should be treated with human rights so much as equal rights among corporations. If ABCorporation, NBCorporation and CBS Incorporated can influence politics, so can other corporations.
So Fast and Furious was modeled after an unsuccessful operation attempted, and ended, during the Bush administration?

I find it totally ironic that it is the do-good religious right that allies itself with the do-good secular left to build and maintain the social safety net that makes what goes on behind closed doors the taxpayers business. If you keep your hand out of my pocket, I will stay out of your bedroom. The Bible is a guide for moral people. The Constitution is a guide for moral government of a moral people. Confusing the two damages the effectiveness of both as badly as ignoring either.
I like Ann, and I am Catholic, but it isn't like she is the Pope or anything. The Devil made her do it!
If, and that truly is IF, we are not united, you might, and I do mean MIGHT, consider it a failure of leadership. Too many Republicans are focussed on defeating Democrats rather than saving the republic. The problem: if it weren't for the failings of Republicans, Democrats wouldn't need to be defeated. In other words: it is hard to get excited to give Republicans control of the House, White House and Senate ... again ... if they are just going to screw it up ... again.

Yes, and it is important to prioritize. It was more important to defeat Hitler and/or Tojo than Mussolini. Coveting your neighbor's goods and murder are both sins, but murder is worse. Until you can eliminate all evil, settle for the lesser of two ... respectfully, please.

It is more an indictment of the two party system than Ron Paul. Wall Street hates Ron Paul. K Street hates Ron Paul. Establishment Republicans hate Ron Paul. RINOs hate Ron Paul. Democrats hate Ron Paul. Unions hate Ron Paul. Government employees hate Ron Paul. Defense contractors hate Ron Paul. Drug smugglers hate Ron Paul. The media hate Ron Paul. A guy that makes so many enemies must be doing something right. If Ron Paul wins, nobody wins but the American people. Ron Paul 2012: Like signing the Declaration of Independence.
