Don't you love judicial activism? ONLY U.S. citizens have the right to vote in this country. I think even the most left of leftists will agree with that. In accordance with the U.S. Constitution determination of voter qualifications is reserved for the States and the people because it was not delegated to the federal government. Gun ownership is a right in this country. This particular right is not even limited to U.S. citizens. Still, in order to exercise this right you must prove your identity to legally purchase a firearm. This is a good thing. Again, I think even the most left of leftists would agree. There is simply no legitimate defense of being against voter ID.

A Pennsylvania judge has blocked the enforcement of a Pennsylvania Voter I.D. law just 35 days before the presidential election on November 6.

A Pennsylvania judge on Tuesday blocked the state from enforcing its strict voter ID law before the presidential election, citing "disenfranchisement" concerns. The ruling in a vital battleground state comes five weeks before the election.

The ruling, which could still be appealed, followed two days of testimony about the state's efforts to make it easier to get a valid photo ID, as well as possible hurdles for those seeking proper identification.
