The Return of Illegal Immigration

I was in the break room in the headquarters of a major home improvement company a couple of years ago. On the bulletin board that also has the minimum wage and other labor rules posted, was a company advertisement for 50 IT jobs for the major home improvement company. The unusual thing - only Indians (sub continent; not How?) applications would be accepted. The floor that break room was on already had a near majority of Indians (sub continent, not How?). And no, the headquarters was not in India.

You would think that with a billion people, most in poverty, there would be tremendous opportunity for these educated Indians to start businesses in INDIA! Isn't that what we have been doing in this country for a couple of hundred years?

Hell, they don't even have to come up with a blueprint - the United States of America has already done it for them. All they have to do is open their eyes, read, and do...

"dot, not feather Indians" :)

There are MILLIONS of unemployed East Indian engineers trying to get here...and hospitals are now retaining doctors back in India to read radiological results for far less, just as your customer service for so many things is farmed out to India and Latin America-- where they typically have NO ability to resolve your problem.
