What is wrong with you people in Massachusetts? If any of you are Conservatives or Republican and don't go and vote so Warren doesn't win then shame on you. This is not the time to be lazy and think you can't make a difference.

Remember that MA has a superb education system (as Romney has pointed out). They are too smart to be accept far right wingers. Moderates? sure. That is how Brown won in the first place. Conservatives? eh, possibly. They did vote for Reagan in 1984. But far right extremists like in the mold of Hannity, Limbaugh, and many on this site? No F-ing way!

As an American male who spent 30 years of marriage dealing with a Boston Irish Catholic mother-in-law, I learned to ignore the arogance and abject ignorance of the people of Massachusetts. Like many who are given information and an opportunity for a good education, they generally don't take advantage of it and prefer to continue to believe in the lies they were told as children. Their state is a good example of what happens when the central government controls people's lives and they become completely dependent instead of self-sufficient like the people who don't live on the coasts. I don't expect the people of Massachusetts to wake up and learn from their mistakes because like the President they are too arrogant to admit they made any.

As an American male who has spent most of my life in the deep south, I know the abject ignorance and arrogance of the far right. Science says there is man-made global warming? Socialist plot! Barack Obama? Sounds foreign. He must be a Kenyan born Muslim CommiNazi! 9/11? It was a message from God to punish for being tolerant towards gays! Racism? There is no racism in the South!...except black racism against the long suffering white man!

I could go on..and on and on and on, but you see what happens when people give in to their prejudiced passions and suspend rational thought to please their hatred in them.

I live in MA.

There are very few conservatives like me here.

In the MA state legislature, Dems outnumber Repubs by a huge 3 to 1 ratio.

And in some local races, there are so few Republicans in those districts that Dems run unopposed. You walk into the voting booth and there is only one major party on the ballot!

I’m now beginning to think that the Boston Globe poll released on Monday was probably an outlier:

A new poll released today shows Elizabeth Warren leading Senator Scott Brown by 7 percentage points, one of the Democratic challenger’s largest leads in any poll taken in recent months.

The poll, by Suffolk University/News 7, was released a day after a Boston Globe poll showed a much tighter race, with Brown leading by 2 percentage points. The Globe poll showed an exact tie when including responses from voters who did not express an initial preference but said they...
