Vouchers. Give them all vouchers. Let them get their own care. Free to Choose. It works.

A Warning to Moral Conservatives

Jeff3820 Wrote: Nov 06, 2012 9:00 AM
I disagree. Moral conservatives should no more choose for me than left wing wackos. Change the economics and decisions will change. Defunding Planned Parenthood is the right move. Dis-Allowing folks that believe in abortion to set up a charity to pay for them is the wrong move. Pressing social issues right now is the exact wrong move-it's about repealing Obamacare, repealing Dodd-Frank and getting the economy moving.
It's also important to note, that while the budget deficit is in the trillions; raising the cap gains tax won't net any respectable amount of money to put a dent in it. We'd be better off eliminating it entirely, encouraging growth and allowing personal tax revenues to cover the deficit.

I think my reason is complacency. "except in moments of danger, are a lethargic race; they do not care for stimulants, they prefer sedatives."

It is amazing. Many people in Chicago are bought by the machine. Others here are true believers in communism, socialism, or the other isms. Others are in government. Even the Republicans in IL are bought. They try to use government for crony capitalism. As long as they get paid, they go along.

No, someone makes money off that imbalance in information. Until the market becomes efficient.

Except, instead of building a capitalistic enterprise, he was a government worker and used crony capitalism to get to the top. There are plenty of Republicans that have done the same thing. We should talk about people that have done it through building businesses, not climbing the ranks of the political ladder.
I almost flagged that as "offensive". No way would Chicago want to be like Detroit. White Sox are beating the Tigers tonight....heh
