Every election has been "...above all about America". That the far too many of the American people have failed--REPEATEDLY, and to their everlasting moral shame--to understand that fact does not change that fact. "What will it hurt if one crappy [Democrat] politician gets elected from my district?" The problem is that crappy [Democrat] politicians are like AIDS cells, cancer cells, thermonuclear warheads. In aggregate, they become exponentially worse than the sum of them.

If nothing else, perhaps we can take away from this the "positive" that traditional "civil rights leaders" [read: racial agitators and non-white racists] seem to be losing their power to sway the society (since, as everyone with a brain already realizes, "racism" in America is no longer a significant problem). For too long, they've held Democrats under their snake-charmer's sway, and bullied the rest of us. The NEGATIVE, of course, is that they're being replaced by muslim grievance mongers, hustlers and terrorists.
