The White House Court Jesters of Sequester

This whole matter, and the later debt ceiling argument, points out the salient problem. At what point does the federal government reflect the reality of the rest of the country. Where is it written that federal workers cannont be laid-off or furloughed? Where is it written that federal employees get better retirement, health care and pay than the average person? Where is it written that unemployment has to stay at 3% in the DC area and home prices must always rise in the DC area? At what point do the American people understand that in our system the government is a parasite and if the parasite becomes too big, the host dies (and so will the parasite)? The feds have doubled spending in 12 years. Absurd.

Actually, federal workers are being furloughed. If the sequester keeps up lay-offs will start. That should hurt the unemployment numbers. But then obama will blame the repubs for that also.

Naw, they wont be "furloughed" they are just being given extended vacations with missing pay to come later; Didn't you LEARN anything when Clinton was in office and "Shut Down" the government to try and force his budget on the Republican controlled Congress. NOBODY in the government lost a single penny and the taxpayers got screwed as usual.

Exactly---so why isn't the Supreme Court looking at why we are ALL not created "equal" under this insane 2700 page piece of regulation ......"THE UNAFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE ACT !!!!!!!

The answer is - UNIONIZED PUBLIC Workers ( not too sure about the workers part). A Deerhunter story:

Life in Obama's America

* John Engineer spent his high school days working toward acceptance in an Engineering University.
* Al Bureaucrat was popular and enjoyed his high school days.
* John went on to college and graduated with a 3.5 GPA and an Engineering degree.
* Al went on to college and graduated with a 2.5 liberal arts degree.
* John found the job he wanted and was hired and put on a 1 yr. evaluation probation.
* Al was hired by the government to write regulations for private industry. He made more money and better benefits than John and could only be fired if he killed someone or was caught at a Tea Party rally.

Life in Obama's America (cont'd)

* John's company was crippled by a regulation that Al wrote and had to lay off staff. John was layed off.
* Al continued pumping out regulations he didn't understand and found some "porno" time on the job.
* John went on unemployment and wound up taking a lesser job with less money and more stress.
* Al was promoted and went on to manage staff in the department that continued having it's budget increased

End of story

Traffic alert: There's a massive clown car pileup in the Beltway. And with the White House court jesters of sequester behind the wheel, no one is safe. Fiscal sanity, of course, is the ultimate victim.

President Obama has been warning America that if Congress allows mandatory spending "cuts" of a piddly-widdly 2 percent to go into effect this week, the sky will fall. The manufactured crisis of "sequestration" was Obama's idea in the first place.

But that hasn't stopped the Chicken Little in Chief from surrounding himself with every last teacher, senior citizen and emergency responder who will be catastrophically victimized by hardhearted...
