Whatever anyone thinks of Levin and his views, Chuck Hagel's perfromance before the committee was rather pathetic. The Dems had to keep restating his positions so he could correct his statement. With Obama, it really does not matter who is allegedly running defense or any of the other major departments. Everything is run out of the White House political office and Obama's 30+ czars. With the exceptions of Hillary Clinton and Kathleen Sebelius, there has been no statements or positions put forth except those approved by the White House. That usually includes a review by Valerie Jarrett. So Chuck can have a nice office, he really will make very few decisions.
