Discord and Disarray Won't Help Obama Legacy

Pretty much. Obama is not interested in a legacy other than the destruction of any opposition. His aim is a legacy of one-party rule. It to achieve that he has to create discord and disarray, then that is what he will do. It is already obvious he has no interest in fiscal responsibility. He is counting on an already disconnected electorate where those who are not working are scared with the withdrawal of entitlements and those who are working that have to work twice as hard to stay in place and don't have time to pay attention. Barrone assumes an active and educated electorate like in the 90's where over 20 million voted for Perot because of budget issues. Those people are either dead or so disenchanted they don't vote. Sic semper tyrannus.

Barack Obama is said to believe that he can win the political fight over the sequester. That's certainly the conventional wisdom.

And there is some evidence to support it. When you ask voters who will be to blame if the sequester occurs, Obama or "congressional Republicans," they're much more likely to say they'll blame the latter.

Obama also comes out on top when you ask whether they will blame "Obama and congressional Democrats" or "congressional Republicans."

There's reason to wonder, however, whether reaction after something happens will be the same as what people predict before it does.

Voters are not always...
