What Constitution? Heck, we are so far from what the framers intended both with bureaucratic despotism and a Supreme Court that acts like high priests that Obama can do what he wants. There are too many people, even ones that voted for Romney, while at the same time voting for so-called moderate dems and repubs into their local, state, and fed offices that don't have clue one. It is funny to hear the discussion of compromise when the federal debt is over $50,000 per man, woman, and child in the USA. The average person doesn't have it. So when the bonds go to AA and debt service eats the federal revenues, it is Caty bar the door. King Obama says, "after me, the deluge." That was Louis XIV for the ill informed masses.

Mitt Romney now joins the long list of the kinds of presidential candidates favored by the Republican establishment-- nice, moderate losers, people with no coherently articulated vision, despite how many ad hoc talking points they may have.

The list of Republican presidential candidates like this goes back at least as far as 1948, when Thomas E. Dewey ran against President Harry Truman. Dewey spoke in lofty generalities while Truman spoke in hard-hitting specifics.
