Jerry Brown's Last Hurrah

Both me and wife are California, and our grown sons were born there but due to a company transfer 13 years ago and I now live in Georgia. My Sons are now adults and neither wants to go back. Much of mine and my wifes family still lives in California, but parts are moving out. Going back for visits I have seen nothing good happening to any part of the state. I truly believe that the rest of the states cannot fund any sort of bailout for any state. This will just make the failure hit the rest harder and not stop the cause of the failure. In the past I thought Brown was a failure as a Governor and nothing will change. I say to all in California that have any sense - get out now!

Sooner Shariah

There is already some Sharia courts in Texas and Sharia Law being used in various states and in business. This move by Oklahoma was valid and a clear move to keep all people using the same laws - that of the United States of America. It is hard enough for our country to stay true to our laws without having the Federal Courts "make their own changes" not in the law, and if you add additional laws that are "religion based" then that religion can modify them as they please. The Federal Judge that blocked Oklahoma voters had no right to do so, and Gerson's view of Sharia is flawed as no religion in the USA should have separate laws...
Like the rest of MSNBC. It is clear by now with the temps dropping, e-mail scandals, and the removal of many reporting sites over time that this is a scam and only designed to get money and power.

CNN is starting to wake up slowly (and I mean slowly) but MSNBC is pathetic. The rest of the MSM better start to change before everyone dumps them, like a shovel of snow.

Invisible Stimulus in Fly-Over Towns

I'm from Georgia but recently was on a business trip to Illinois and all I saw was road construction and more capital improvements. Signs indicating it is American Recovery Act. That is sure not happening in Georgia (I guess to many Republicans down here). It is clear where our tax money went, Obama took it back to the home folks. Good for them but not for the rest of us.

Legalize Immigration

It is clear the previous amnesty didn't work and the problem is much worse. It is also clear that with the mass Legal happening that our elected leaders care nothing about us. They care about money they get from business to keep wages low or care about rigging elections.

I also agree with ORACLE1's view on deportation and believe it could be do that way. I am not sure of a guest worker program unless there is low unemployment.
