Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood) absolutely had elimination of minorities in mind when she advocated abortion, which she did right alongside her advocacy of eugenics and sterilization.

How was the Constitutional Convention a conspiracy against the rights of African Americans? If he is referring to the three-fifths compromise, that was actually to limit slavery. If the slave states had been allowed to count the slaves in their population, they would have dominated the House of Representatives, entrenching slavery as an institution even longer.

With one notable exception in November 2008, any McCain loss is good for the country.
Though most Christians reject the more hedonistic aspects of Ayn Rand's philosophy (and they should), she makes a very strong case for the morality of capitalism in Atlas Shrugged, including the immorality of inaction once you recognize collectivism being perpetrated.

For the "Jesus was a socialist" crowd, I would remind you that Jesus taught the man to fish, rather than simply giving him one. And, when feeding the multitudes, he chose to feed the crowds - he didn't ask the Romans to come in and redistribute food.
Man I wish he would run. I have wanted to support that man for president since he was in congress. His past associations (Barry Switzer) could be problem though, lol.
Way to go Ann! During the election Kathleen Parker removed her "conservative" sheep's clothing to reveal the wolf she really is. It's about time some one called her on it.
Ms. Coulter has one glaring error in this piece... if she gave Air America 10 percent of her book profit, it wouldn't result in a ten percent profit for Air America. That assumes that Air America is a break even venture! The only way they could lose more money is if they were run by Barney Frank & Chris Dodd!

Quoting Jeffrey:

"D!ck Cheney can hardly be called a Leftist and even he supports same-sex marriage. In fact, he has a lesbian daughter who has a steady partner evidently. John McCain’s former campaign manager advocates that the Republican Party support same-sex marriage!"

Your post exposes both your wrong assumption and a lie (projection) of the left. The GOP is not a group of monolithic sheep who fall in ideological lock step, as you falsely assume. There is room for intellectual dissent and TRUE tolerance in our party. It is the donkeys that use intimidation and punishment (see: Joseph Lieberman) in the tradition of Stalin to enforce their rigid party line.

Quoting Jeremy:

"If put to a vote, slavery, separate-but-equal laws, and bans on mixed-race marriage would have lasted much longer than they did had the courts not intervened."

Other than Dred Scott (birth of judicial activism) refusing to overturn it and similar lower court rulings, the judicial branch has a sterling record on civil rights. That's why there was never any civil rights legislation needed in the say, 1960s. (SARCASM ALERT)

The truth is, had the courts had the guts to act responsibly the Civil War might have been avoided. But far be it from me to let historical facts get in the way of a radical agenda.

Resume propagandizing, Jeremy.
