Get serious. Read any state Castle Doctrine law, which, even in the states that allow the most leeway, allow you to defend yourself when threatened IN YOUR HOME, YOUR VEHICLE, OR YOUR WORKPLACE! NO, THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO GO OUT AND HUNT THEM DOWN LATER! And no, you can't go out and shoot someone that is out in your driveway breaking into you car. It's about personal self-defense at the time your safety - or that of your family or loved ones - is being threatened. The NRA has been unwavering in their defense of the Second Amendment throughout the gun control debate and Wayne LaPierre will continue that message before a Senate panel on Wednesday.
